ASM Microbe 2018–connecting scientists with their science–showcases the best microbial sciences in the world, and provides a one-of-a-kind forum to explore the complete spectrum of microbiology from basic science to translation and application. Eight tracks allow you to narrow in on your scientific niche, and connect with the experts in your field. https://www.asm.org/index.php/asm-microbe-2018
The 2018 ASM Biothreats meeting will be held February 12–14, 2018, in Baltimore, Maryland, with an expanded program to include tracks on high consequence pathogen research, biological threat reduction, product development, and policy. Thought leaders in academia, industry and government will gather to present and discuss the latest developments in this emerging field. As the trusted voice of the microbial sciences, the ASM leverages its vast membership base to bring an all-new meeting together on the cutting-edge of biological threats. This year's meeting incorporates a platform for students and early career professionals to share their science and connect with a diverse community of experts.
The 14th ASM Conference on Candida and Candidiasis will be held in Providence, Rhode Island, April 15 – 19, 2018, to continue its legacy of providing a vital forum for the Candida research community. It will present the latest advances on diagnosis and treatment of Candida infections, antifungal drug resistance, the genomics and epidemiology of the fungus, the molecular mechanisms that underpin Candida pathobiolology, and the immunological responses of the host to the fungus. This conference will help determine the course of future research in this area and empower major ongoing efforts to understand, treat, and prevent Candida infections.
The ASM Clinical Virology Symposium will be held May 6–9, 2018, in its new location at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach, Florida! Led by biomedical scientists engaged in research as well as primary care physicians and laboratorians involved with patient care, this international symposium will provide an unmatched forum for the meaningful exchange of ideas dealing with viral infections. The Pan American Society for Clinical Virology (PASCV) will host the Molecular Virology Workshop on May 5, 2018 prior to the Clinical Virology Symposium.
